Door 2.0 (It's not letting me place a thumbnail or anything like described in FAQ #66)
Last month I quit my job to focus on my art. I'm always putting it aside for more "responsible" things and because of several interactions in my life I often times feel guilty when I pursue anything artistic, as feelings of success are so relative and subjective. As most of you reading this probably know, the field of art has pretty much no instant payoffs. And it's very hard to get noticed, especially on DA.
I've always felt something like a Daily Deviation was above me. Something for popular artists on DA, as their work is usually the easiest to find given the way this site is set up and from networking range. Even if this is the only DD I ever receive, it's helped me feel that my stay on DA is worth something more. And that it's ok for me to pursue my dreams. All of you that have reached out with
